Excuse our mess. phlush.org is under construction. We thought about doing this messy work out of view. But we know this: Everybody is smarter than anybody. So why not help us out by emailing suggestions or commenting below? The purpose of phlush.org is to bring together practical resources on public restroom design and management and to foster effective advocacy through interactive discussion of the issues.

PHLUSH is a group of public restroom activists based in Portland, Oregon’s Old Town Chinatown neighborhood. PHLUSH is a member of the World Toilet Organization and collaborates with the American Restroom Association on national issues such as the Federal Public Restroom Requirements Initiative.

Development of the PHLUSH website is partially supported with a small grant from the City of Portland, Oregon administered through the Alliance of Portland Neighborhood Business Associations.
